We caught up with Rodney to hear about one of his favourite projects, what excites him about the world of packaging, and how great design starts with great conversations.
1. What has been your favourite project at Odillo so far?
“One of my favourite projects has to be working with Original Fibres, a slow fashion brand with a strong focus on sustainability. They were in the middle of a rebrand, which made it the perfect time to rethink and refine their packaging from end to end.
“It was incredibly rewarding to help them remove plastic entirely from their packaging lineup. We designed a fully sustainable shipping solution using kraft mailing bags and corrugated boxes - creating a memorable unboxing experience that aligned beautifully with their brand values.”
2. Why do you think this project stands out as an example of what Odillo does best?
“Our work with Original Fibres really captures what we do best at Odillo: combining sustainability with standout design. They were looking for eco-conscious materials and a refined unboxing moment, and we delivered on both.

3. What do you enjoy most about working in packaging design and solutions?
“What I enjoy most is being involved from the ground up, working closely with brands like Original Fibres from the initial concept through to final delivery. It’s rewarding to create packaging that not only reflects a brand’s identity but also improves the operational side of their business.
“At the end of the day, success breeds success. It’s exciting to be part of projects that deliver real value to our clients and help their businesses grow.”
