Project Background
Earthborn Paints was on a mission to create a distinctive PR box that would deliver a unique unboxing experience, enticing influencers to share their collection with social media followers - and that's exactly what we helped them do! They wanted the packaging to be eco-friendly, aligning with their ethos, and cost-effective, while securely holding sample pots and featuring additional compartments for other products. The box needed to be sturdy enough for shipping and designed to engage the five senses, each linked to the paint colours. We faced a tight turnaround for design and production, ensuring the print colours matched the paints perfectly.
Our Solution
Upon approval of the original design, we released templates for artwork and Pantone colour-matching. The digital printing matched the approved paint and Pantone colours perfectly! We delivered the boxes flat-packed with instructions, allowing their team to assemble them with the contents and send them to the creators.
The final product was a unique pentagonal box with individual triangular compartments to securely hold the paint pots, while an upper compartment stored additional features for a truly imaginative multi-moment unboxing experience. Constructed from FSC corrugated material, the box is fully recyclable and more cost-effective than the original rigid box inspiration!
Results and Impact
Our collaboration with Earthborn Paints resulted in an increase in sales and brand recognition. The unique pentagonal PR box not only captured the attention of influencers but also resonated with their social media followers.
